On October 5th, I will travel to Germany, where my tour partner and I will conduct three Breeder's Tours through the end of October. Among other things, we will attend the Hanoverian Elite Auction, visit the Hanoverian Verband, the Landgestuet Celle, and attend the judging of the jumping portion of the 70-day stallion test at the Adelheidsdorf Testing Station. We will also visit the famed Schockemoehle Stud and their breeding center, the Lewitz Stud. Can you imagine 3500 horses on the same farm?
We will tour other well-esteemed private breeding farms, the Northrhine Westphalian State Stud and German Riding School, and much more. Another of our highligts will be attending the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing and auction, where over 700 young stallions will be presented!
I will blog about the adventures and experiences of our group on the three tours and then again when I visit breeding farms in Holland and Denmark. I look forward to sharing it all with you. Stay tuned!
